Tuy nhiên, loại máy này chỉ có thể làm sạch với khối lượng sản phẩm và kích thước nhỏ. Nên không đáp ứng đủ các nhu cầu làm sạch của các đơn vị sản xuất lớn.

Máy phun bi tự động turbine điện
Loại máy này còn được biết với tên gọi máy phun bi. Máy phun bi có kiểu mẫu đa dạng, mỗi dạng lại thích hợp với những sản phẩm riêng. Trong xưởng đúc, người ta thường sử dụng máy phun bi thùng đảo hoặc máy phun bi dạng treo. Đối với các đơn vị kết cấu thép hoặc tôn tấm thì có thể sử dụng máy phun bi dạng băng tải. Tùy vào đặc điểm của sản phẩm, các đơn vị cung cấp máy phun bi có thể biến đổi và thiết kế những model máy riêng như máy phun bi làm sạch vỏ thùng phuy, vỏ bình gas,… Loại máy này có ưu điểm làm sạch với khối lượng lớn, hoàn toàn tự động, phân li bi bụi hiệu quả. Tuy nhiên, chi phí đầu tư cao là nhược điểm lớn nhất của máy.
